Further to the command's reinvigorated special action plan on the ongoing fight against Banditry, Kidnapping, armed robbery, and other violent crimes across the state.

The Command operatives attached to Gombi Division, in a joint operation with Hunters on the 10/12/2021 while on stop and search operation along Ngada - Gombi road intercepted and apprehended one *Shenomano Remos* 23years old a resident of Sheno Belta village, Gombi local government.
The suspect has been a notorious Gun dealer who bought and smuggled in the weapons from Askira Uba local government, Borno state, and was on his way to distributing the same to his collaborators.
The Commissioner of police *CP Mohammed Ahmed Barde, psc (+),** While commending the gallery performance of the DPO and Men of Gombi Division, Noted that stop and search Operation is a good initiative and will critically evaluate the pattern and trend of crimes in the State. He assured of massive and well-plan deployment of both Human and other operational assets of the Command to reinforce and consolidate on keeping Adamawa safe, especially during this festive period.

The Frequent stop and search Operations at Nipping points are aimed at preventing and detecting crime. It will also ensure that all arrested and their collaborators are brought to book.
The CP, assured the Government and good people of Adamawa State that the Command shall continue to do all within its powers to guarantee a stable security order across the State especially now that people are preparing for the forthcoming festivities. He calls on the civil populace to work with the Police and other security agencies in the joint tasks of safeguarding our State, especially in the area of providing useful, relevant, and timely information.
