Martins Dickson the first child in a family of four is
a multi talented, gifted personality, a graduate of
Biochemistry and one of six pioneer students of the
department from the Federal University of
Technology Yola, now Modibbo Adama University
of Technology.
He started music at the early age of 12 as a
member of the junior choir St. John's protestant
church Dallet Barracks, Kawo Kaduna.
He continued music through school and became
the Choir leader, FCS at Government Senior
Science School Ganye, Adamawa State, also, Music
Director, NIFES FUT-Yola, Music Director, Rhema
Bible Church Yola, Music Director, Upper Room
Cathedral Yola.
Martins has two albums to his credit, his first
album is titled "God of war" while the second one
is called "Situation".
He is the President and founder of Exousia Music
intl. A veteran broadcaster and journalist, Martins
is currently the News Editor of CORE TV NEWS a
24Hr news channel based in Lagos Nigeria.
He successfully combines his work as a journalist
with music which he believes is a channel for
teaching and preaching of the word of God.
Martins is a prolific worship leader with an
uncommon grace in the art and act of worship.

The Nigerian military and a mobile police unit have started advancing to the commercial border town of Mubi, Adamawa state.

The town along with some other communities in Adamawa and Borno states were taken over by Boko Haram in the last few weeks. Sources say that the police unit, which appeared battle ready, was headed to the troubled area not only to flush out the terrorists but also to liberate Vintim, the home town of the Chief of Defence Staff, Alex Badeh, one of the communities currently under the control of Boko Haram. One of the fleeing residents, Bitrus Gajere, said the mobile police special anti-terrorist unit had already reached Marraba Mubi Junction, about 18 kilometres from Mubi town. Other reports say the Nigerian military backing the police unit and led by a colonel was at Pella Junction, 80 kilometres from Mubi. Mr. Gajere expressed his happiness at the development. “It may lead to the end of the trauma occasioned by the dismal performance of Nigerian troops who always flee whenever insurgents strike, leading to the fall of many towns and villages,” he said.
